Who we are
The Metal Arts was established on August 7, 1995, by the late Mr. Zakir Hussain, along with his sons, Mr. Zahir Hussain and Mr. Aanish Ahmed. The company specializes in the production of event structures and the interiors of commercial spaces. Initially, with a manpower of 30-35, the company handled 7-8 events a month. Today, it manages about 20 events monthly with a workforce of 200. The first production unit was based on Krishnagar JNU Road; currently, it is located in Dera Village.
India’s first go-cart was manufactured by The Metal Arts. The company holds numerous achievements and has produced work for many major brands, including Force Motors, PepsiCo, Red Tape, Ashok Leyland, Hero MotoCorp, Hyundai, Royal Enfield, Honda, Aircel Cellular, Siemens, Benetton, and many more. Notable projects include structures for Mall Road Mussoorie with Karrara Mujassal, the Commonwealth Games opening and closing ceremonies, Crompton Greaves, the Ambani wedding, and the IMA Awards, where the company served as the event partner.
The Metal Arts has showcased its intricate and marvelous structures internationally. The company’s first international event was a wedding in Budapest with Sumanth Jaikishan. Since then, they have organized events in various locations including Florence, Switzerland, Muscat, Mauritius, Doha, Dubai, London, Abu Dhabi, Paris, and Venice, among others.
Zahir Hussian
Mr. Zahir Hussain, a key leader at The Metal Arts, has driven the company’s remarkable growth since its inception on August 7, 1995. Established with his late father, Mr. Zakir Hussain, and his brother, Mr. Aanish Ahmed, The Metal Arts evolved from a small team handling 7-8 events a month to a leading firm with 200 employees managing 20 events monthly.
Renowned for innovative projects like India’s first go-cart, the company has executed high-profile events including the Commonwealth Games and the Ambani wedding.
With a global presence, The Metal Arts has showcased its expertise in cities such as Paris, Dubai, and London.
